There are two options for this workshop.
For the General Public, you will be required to attend two days of training. Thursday Sept. 18 and Friday Sept 19th from 9 am - 6 pm at The Sound Journey Store in Beamsville, Ontario.
School of Sound Students will have received the first day of training in their Core Content, so they just need to sign up for just the workshop on Friday Sept. 19, 2025 from 9 am - 6 pm
Who Can Take This Course?
This course is open to both the general public and to students of the School of Sound.
Number of Credit Hours for School of Sound Students
Each day of this course is worth 8 hours of electives towards School of Sound elective hours. If you take this course and then decide to join School of Sound at a later date, you will be credited these hours.
Course Description
This unique course combines the principles of sound therapy with the healing energy of Reiki, offering a powerful approach to restoring balance and well-being. In Sound Reiki, you will learn how to use tuning forks, vocal toning, and other sound tools in combination with Reiki energy to enhance the healing process. Drawing from the work of pioneers such as John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D., this class will provide hands-on experience in integrating sound and energy work for personal and professional healing practices. By the end of this course, students will be equipped to use Sound Reiki as a holistic modality for emotional, physical, and spiritual alignment.
Course Objectives
- Understand the foundational principles of both sound therapy and Reiki, and how they can be combined for healing.
- Learn techniques for using tuning forks, vocal toning, singing bowls, and sound tools within a Reiki session.
- Explore the vibrational qualities of sound and how they enhance the flow of Reiki energy.
- Develop confidence in offering Sound Reiki sessions to support balance, relaxation, and deep healing in clients.

Wyatt Mylius
Wyatt Mylius is a passionate sound healing practitioner and teacher who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his students at Rooted in Sound. With certifications in Peter Hess Sound Therapy, Gong Resonance Therapy, Nada Yoga, and Reiki, Wyatt's approach combines modern scientific principles with ancient healing traditions. He has trained with renowned experts including Peter Hess, Mitch Nur Ph.D., Mike Tamburo, Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary and Deepak Chopra, which deeply informs his teachings. Wyatt's classes offer an immersive experience that emphasizes sound's therapeutic potential for healing and personal transformation. His mission is to empower others through sound wellness education, providing tools for self care, balance, and well-being. LOCATION
Location is at the Sound Journey Store in Lincoln (Beamsville), Ontario, Canada L3J 2C8. We will send you the exact address once you are enrolled.
We are 35 minutes from Niagara Falls. 1 hour from both Toronto and from Buffalo NY. We live on a beautiful wine route on the top of the Niagara Escarpment, so if you are planning on travelling, you may with to add a few days to your trip and enjoy our area.
