Start with an Elective
Now is your chance to learn from some of North America's leading teachers in the field of sound. Each of our classes is open to the general public as well as to students in the Rooted in Sound Academy Canada. Classes will be held in our newly renovated classroom filled with a variety of instruments for everyone to use. We are located in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada.

If at any time you decide you want to become a student in the Rooted in Sound Academy Canada, your hours will be credited towards your elective requirements.
Sign Up for Rooted in Sound Academy Canada~ 160 Hour Foundational Diploma Program
The Foundational Diploma Program provides you with core content that includes 75 hours of in class learning, plus 44 hours of online learning hours. You then get to choose your area of specialization for an additional 24 hours of elective learning. See program details for other student hours and responsibilities.
Sign Up for Rooted In Sound Academy ~ 200 Hour Advanced Diploma Program
The Advanced Diploma Program provides you with core content that includes 75 hours of in class learning, plus 44 hours of online learning hours. You then get to choose your area of specialization for an additional 64 hours of elective learning. Upon completion, you may then apply for BOARD CERTIFICATION with the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SOUND THERAPISTS
Other Student Responsibilites in the Rooted In Sound Academy
As part of the Core Modules, Rooted in Sound Academy Canada students will complete the following:
- Monthly online book club
- Instructor sessions (give one, receive one) - 3 hours
- Complete 30x student practitioner sessions. This includes 1/2 hr intake for time for the pre/post student session - 30 hours
- Supervision Class then Closing & Graduation Ceremony - 6 hours
