We have been very lucky to partner with a musician in Nepal to source our Himalayan Singing Bowls. He hand picks each Himalayan singing bowl for us, listening to the sound to be sure it has a beautiful tone.
Did you know that different tones can be produced with different mallets. Each bowl comes with a padded ring, a red felt mallet and a wooden/suede mallet. If you wish to produce the high tones for tapping, we suggest the Blue Bunny Tail mallet. These are available in the accessories section of the Himalayan Collection.
You can sing your bowl in your hand, on your body or on table. When played on a table you should put your bowl on a rubber ring, rubber mat or padded ring. Your bowl comes with either a rubber mat or a rubber ring, whichever one we feel helps your bowl sing the best.
If you are overwhelmed with trying to pick a Himalayan singing bowl, just give us a call. We would be happy to help you out.

New Himalayan Singing Bowl No 762: F2+14 88 HZ
Size 13"
Weight 1570 g
Style: Thanka Artwork
Special Feature: The artwork, known as Thanka Artwork is a traditional hand painting technique that has been applied to create beauty to your singing bowl.
This bowl comes with a soft mallet for tapping (our preferred method) and a wooden mallet for playing the rim.
When you tap a Himalayan Singing Bowl, you bring out the rich overtones of the singing bowl. It creates a complex sound. When you sing along the rim, you isolate one clear tone.
You can sing your bowl in your hand, on your body or on table. When played on a table you should put your bowl on a rubber ring, rubber mat or padded ring.
